Please do not be afraid to cry
Yes, tears are as important as rain!
Just as an oasis is to the desert
Just as the seed is to the grain.
They give water to our withered soul,
Revive many a hardened heart,
Instill hope when a sinner repenting goes
In search of a brand-new start.
Tears are not a sign of weakness
As they’re often thought to be,
The strong and straight-backed shed them too
When they’re down on bended knee.
So let tears roll, just set them free
A true mark of a human being
Clear-eyed, renewed the world you’ll see,
In your step, feel the freshness of spring!

What noble words!! It is so difficult for so many to cry. Although it is so important to. You are a wonderful poet who knows the essence of every emotion Lola! Great advice to all the readers. Tears of sorrow and joy both lighten and brighten the heart! Loved the narration!!!
Thanks, dear Ninz for the lovely, positive affirmations to the poem… As humans we are primarily emotional beings and crying helps us unburden our minds and hearts π Thank you and God bless.. ππ€π
Lovely poem Lola. Even Jesus wept and told the women of Jerusalem not to weep for Him but for their children… if God weeps for us and tells us to weep then let the tears roll!
Thanks a lot, dear Les for your beautiful comment and encouraging words… Yes, even Jesus wept and showed us that it’s normal to weep when deeply stirred or touched!

Wowβ¦πππ Very well expressed in beautiful words and audio.
I strongly believe in this line βrenewed the world youβll see, In your step, feel the freshness of spring!β – Itβs very very important to let tears roll but I feel itβs difficult for many people to understand real meaning of TEARS.
This poem will definitely help those to overcome and roll {actual} tears after reading/listening the poem.
Thank you so much for the wonderful sentiment you’ve expressed Uday…I’m so glad whenever I read your comment because it brings out the meaning of the terms I’ve used very well! Thank you for the encouragement and God bless.. ππΉπ
