A SMILE
Methinks a smile is to this day, the best of God’s creation,
A smile can cross all barriers and enter every nation
A smile lights up the universe and darkness it dispels
It can lift you from the pits of a dark and dreary hell
A smile, it has no language and yet in volumes speaks
It spreads the welcome message of joy, hope and peace
It can save you from embarrassment, every time you stumble
You can use it safely as a guard in moments when you crumble
A smile can send you in a hurtle, right up to the skies
And deep into every heart, it can really mesmerize!
It always is a forerunner of glad and joyful tidings
In bad times it can smoothen the roughest of your ridings
A smile can be a little one or an ear-to-ear wide grin
No matter what the type of smile, a heart you’ll surely win!
And speaking on the lighter side, a smile when turned to laughter
Can banish all your blues away, keep you healthy ever after!
