TESTS OF TIME
TIME! The greatest healer of all,
Yet, such little time to spare!
Minutes fade into a lifetime,
Leave us time that’s barely there!
Time mends the heart so it forgets,
Time bends the mind to forgive,
Time builds a bridge and seals a chasm,
So while we live, we let live!
Time, yet too little to really know,
Time, too less to understand!
Not enough to want to let go,
What you’re holding in your hand!
Time is, with every rising sun,
With every newborn form
To every passing horizon,
Time lends its eternal charm.
Time’s fleeting fast, or so it’s said,
Time won’t wait for anyone!
You can’t move backwards into time,
Time never stands still, it runs!
Languish behind and you lose it,
Race far ahead and you’ve won
But as sands of time slip underfoot,
You will find it hard to run.
You may try moving abreast of time,
And leave everyone behind
Time’s tricky! When you look around,
Only loneliness you’ll find!
Time has no measure, start or end,
Time flows with each tinkling chime,
To find it and make it work for you
Always tread IN STEP with time!
