PRAYER FOR OUR PARENTS

From the moment of taking our first breath on earth,
To this day, when we stand on our own two feet,
It’s our wonderful parents, who having given us birth,
Have guided and taught us life’s challenge to meet.

Dear God, bless our parents with joy, peace and health,
Help us always to be grateful, for they’re our true wealth!
Teach us to honor them for the rest of their lives,
To love and support them thro’ struggle and strife.

Help us follow the values they’ve imparted to their children,
Shower us with grace from the heavens above,
To give back to our parents the joys they have given,
A steadfast devotion, as strong as their love!
