GOD’S DILEMMA
In the dark night sky the stars die out
As heavy black clouds fade them away
The moon burns like burnished silver
Faintly lighting the path of strayers
And God watches as man slumbers
The only hours man is fully subdued
And God feels like He is Creator
For man’s silence stays his rebellion
Far be it for God to compel creation
It having been set to pre-emptive mode
Strangling any effort to slacken it
Or reset the pattern of its molding
Man sleeps, unaware of God’s dilemma
While renewing His resolute work of art.
