A COWBOY CRUSH!
In the barren land of ranches in Southern Oregon,
On a farmhouse with its stables full of horses,
A dashing man with cowboy hat pulled low over his eyes,
Strode thoughtfully along the fence of the racecourses.
His eyes a vibrant blue, the rich color of the sky,
Looking deeper with the intensity of thought,
His rugged skin sun-burnt to an almost golden brown,
An air of seriousness to his whole appearance brought.
A horse ambled gently near the corner of the fence,
The cowboy stopped to stroke its silken coat and muzzle,
His countenance relaxed, his eyes creased in a sudden smile,
As the horse continued to snort and to nuzzle.
A penny for his thoughts I’d give this handsome specimen,
While he stood with an orange sun that set behind him,
His dark silhouette lent a heightened mysterious air,
To the face below the hat, half hidden by its brim.
Was he wondering what the changing winds were bringing in its wake?
Did a pretty lady fair flush his face with reddened tan?
Maybe the furrows in his brow were caused by plans for stock and land,
But from that one hypnotic moment, I’m an ardent cowboy fan!

For a moment I was transported from vasai to cowboy land. Only to be brought back to write my comment. Pretty picture of endless open land and clear blue skies
