YOUR WILL, YOUR WAY!
Lord, humbly I come to You today,
Teach me Your Will, show me your Way
There is many a path and many a bend
Many a foe and many a friend
How do I discern the right from wrong
Life is a battle that’s endured lifelong
And I’m just a mortal, a speck of dust
That is blown away by the wind in a gust
What do I retain and what do I free
What to contend with, what to agree
Which is the Word, which hidden lies
Which Spirit’s wisdom or devil’s disguise
How do I sift the chaff from the grain
Endow a blessing, amidst bitter pain
From dark distress attain pure Light
Battle demons in the blindness of night
Life’s a long fight, death a moment’s feat
Your grace of salvation, is evil’s defeat
Your truth O Lord, is still a wonder to me
That my God, the fount of eternity
A place just for me in heaven reserves
And a crown that a soul well deserves
For all the worthy, for a race well run
Following the steps of Jesus, Your Son.
So I humbly bow and humbly I pray
Teach me Your Will Lord, and Your Way!
