THE ULTIMATE CALL

In this land of the living is comfort and peace
And yes, we meet trials and turmoils too
But after we reach a certain age increase
We’re uncertain what next we should do

For this life on earth is clearly not the end
We’re just travellers on the go
And there’s many a phase and there’s many a bend
Till at last we reach heaven’s door

So draw plans that are certain, dream dreams you can hold
For we know not when the call comes
It won’t matter if we’re young, or if we are old
We will respond to the sound of the drums.

Through life we move on and cleave to our own
Till life’s very last moment does arrive
For we come alone and we leave alone
With the final breath we take when alive.

No, we don’t own the earth, the earth is of God
Only His favor and plans will endure
Holding our hand He makes smooth the path trod
But His call we can never ignore!

We pray for our loved ones, with devout plea
And will surely our favor be given
Till it’s God’s Will, then His plan He’ll reveal
With the call of the trumpets from heaven.

If today we’re saved, be sure to give thanks
Sure to continue our Christian mission
For He gives added chance to His chosen ranks
Till His call, His ultimate decision.
