HEAVEN ABOVE
There’s a mystical place called heaven,
A haven of peace and love
Oceans between there are seven
Cross them, to reach up above.
Enter the mighty gates of heaven,
To find flowers, fruits, silvery streams,
Beauty more than you can fathom
When on earth you dreamt your dreams!
Enchanting music that greets you
From harps and flutes you will hear,
Ethereal angels will surround you
And faces you know will appear.
Yes, faces of all your loved ones,
And faces of people you knew,
Faces of earth’s beloved sons,
Of family and friends so true!
Like a legion of hosts around,
They’ll lead you to God’s own throne,
Where God and His saints abound,
You’ll find joy you’ve never known!
The thirst in your soul will be quenched,
True love abide with you ever
When with heaven’s clear rains you’re drenched
It will cleanse you pure forever
