BREATHLESS
The eyes gleam when they behold
A drove of birds in flight
A field of nodding sunflowers
All dressed in their best gold
Oh, how I quiver with the smell
Of the early morning dew
The fresh and deep scent of earth,
Casts on me a nameless spell
My feet, they lead me thro’ the trees
To the top of a nearby hill
And I gaze into the valley below
Mercy, wonders never cease!
I raise my head and high above
Is the radiance of the skies
I’m blinded momentarily
My heart is filled with love
My soul soars in unmeasured delight
My hands are stretched out wide
I’m breathless and I cannot speak
In the presence of God’s might.
For who can explain the marvel
Of God’s creation blest
Lo! Life is another miracle
No-one can e’er unravel!!!

Till the end if the 4th verse I thought you were wandering down the path of Elisabeth Browning, then the last two verses told me No it was the wonders of creation stirring up your soul. Keep breathing GODS wonders, for they truely fill our souls.

Yes, God’s mercies, His goodness, His love, the brilliance of His creation, are seen, perceived, and marvelled over, every single day. He deserves all the Glory we give Him and more. We are so undeserving of His love and yet, He has given us the highest esteem and importance among all His creation! Mind-boggling, isn’t it?
