Father God, this sunny Sunday, the Holy Sabbath of rest and restoration, peace and reflection, prayer and meditation, we thank you with grateful hearts for this day, and your ardent love, which we can never hope to match, for we still need the purity of heart to feel such fervor.

We are unsure of what tomorrow will bring, but our failing faith gets renewed by recalling your unshakable promises, our weakening hope gets an upsurge, in the sure belief that tomorrow is in your hands, you are directing, leading, changing, sustaining, preserving, delivering and sanctifying all of us with your grace, mercy, justice and holiness.

We pray that our family members remain healthy, holy, bound together in love and selflessness of spirit, away from evil snares and pitfalls. As long as Jesus is in us and we in him, we will continue to walk in your ways, and ask forgiveness for our sins in Jesus’ Name. Amen
