You’re the silver lining in every cloud
You’re my soul sister, makes me awfully proud

You’re the friend whose way is also my way
We read each other’s mind and heart so well

And I thank the Lord for making you my friend

You bring joy and laughter when my world’s in tears

When the family I know, no longer knows me
I turn to the one, who is more than family to me
We seem fitted together, sis, like a hand in a glove
For our souls are in sync and our hearts full of love
You’re right here with me, though we’re a distance apart

You’re the sky filled with blue right after a storm
For your love calms the turbulence my soul suffers from
You’re the first good happening, to me every day
Whenever I need help you’re just a call away
We have never ever met, yet we know each other well
When one of us is troubled, the other can surely tell
For we know that we breathe the same air of this earth
And though we’re not family, we’re soul sisters from birth.
